Can't argue with that, DC.......

Rob and I both would have gobblers down, now, if we'd taken a gun.

Not my cup of tea
With shotguns,

We both would have gobblers down on Friday and I wouldv'e tagged a second had we gone back like we did Saturday.

How do you know you would have had birds if you had shot guns?? I have seen plenty of people miss turkeys with shot guns. I'm just saying.

BHF....I musta missed that! Do you have photos? I know you were gonna go after them with your trad gear.
Jeff here is the Story, my 1st Tom, big ole bird weighing in at 24# coming off a HARD winter, 12" beard. I killed him at 10 yards, no blind with my Fathers Remy 1100! My Dad loved to hunt the Turkeys, he killed a Big Tom with this shot gun and passed away 3 weeks later! So Killing my 1st Tom with this gun is very special to me! I had 4 mornings to hunt, I had the longbow in hand for 2 of those days! I'll be hunting with the Longbow in Michigan later in May and again in Wisconsin for the 5th season!

I agree Chris, but keep in mind, we had 13 bearded birds in bow range throughout the morning. It's not that we had one opportunity each. We just didn't have an opportunity on them coming around the right side of the blind. We wouldn't have been in the blind and the odds were certainly in our favor. I'm confident we both would have had birds, people miss but, I'll take those odds.
