Ok...I'm pretty sure the allegiance crosses below the cable slide. If that is the case, then you do have it backwards.

DAMN! Good thing I dint shoot it yet...I am getting new strings any ways. Thanks for the help...I wish I had a press though too [&:]

Yea...Look into getting one of those potable ones from Bass pro. They are only $40. Then when you get new string you can put em on yourself. Or if you ever have a problem in the woods you have it with you. If you dont trust yourself I'm sure a shop will put the strings on for $10 or less.

If it's an Allegiance then the cables should cross in the center of the bow (below the cable guard) and the slide should be on so that they don't touch each other.

Sorry I goofed....but yes the ceter pivot bows cross above the cable guard and the rest cross below the cable guard

These guys are correct.. The cables should cross below the cable slide on a 2007 Allegiance. The longer slot on the slide needs to face forward.

Yeah, I agree that you have it backwards. I had one on my 06 Tribute when I sold it and was thinking yours looked wrong, but that was a while ago- I wasn't absolutely sure.
