I' m not sure how the meat will be cut up...but if it is quartered and frozen solid...you probably won' t have to worry about it thawing out that fast. Just friday I took 5 deer hind quarters in a cooler to my buddy that has a butcher shop. Took them out of the freezer thurs night and put them in a cooler. Friday they were in my car all day at work with the lid open(trying to thaw them some, so he could work them up sat). By the time I dropped them off on friday evening (about 24hrs later) they were still frozen pretty much solid. I guess it depends on how they are cut up, and how much room you have in the car. The dry ice would definitely work, but you may not need it.
Of course...if it starts to thaw too much on you...drop by my place while passing through VA and I' ll help you out
