Default Plan for KY

Well Friday night when I get there, my plan is to head out and setup my blind. I do this in MI.

I have spot on GPS about 100 yds from where the birds roost(I think). If I am quiet, I bet I will no issue with spooking the birds off the roost.

Anybody else do this?

Slight hijack......

You going to do any scouting for whitetail or just hunt turkey?

I stayed down there last night. I shotgun hunted over on my private spot late this morning.Killed a 21 1/2# bird with a 9" beard and 1" spurs.[8D]

I don't have enough hunts under my belt with a bow to say what I do.But if I can get the blind setup early, that is what I will do.

I plan on having the camper setup so you won't have to mess with the tent when you get in.

I might even take you over and hunt some birds on private land and maybe we can do some filming.

If I can get your same spot, that is where it will be but if I can't(someone there this weekend),I will setup where I had it when you came down last summer.

I took my blind out in the woods this morning. But I didn't set mine up. I am not sure about the neighbors yet. I stashed it so I can set it up quick in the morning.

Cool, thank you.

I plan on hunting in the smaller section Saturday morning. Is it getting a lot of pressure?

The square is where I am looking and where i seen the birds
