Default Colorado Scouting Pics

Here are a few pics I took a few years ago near Craig, CO. I was out there for an Elk hunt but fell in love with the Mule Deer!

Runt is on!

Cool pics man! Maybe I'm mistaken, but the second pic looks like a muley buck and a whitetail doe.

Elk hunting was ok. My ex father in law took me out and it was a guided hunt and in my opinion I would have hunted longer and harder but ended up shooting a smaller bull than I hoped for. I am looking into going out there this year, we got permission to hunt a 1200 acre area but I am waiting for more info. I would love to take a bull with a bow and not with a rifle!!

Very nice pics. I hope to get back west again in the near future. I loved my elk hunt and wish I could hunt them every year. I've only been on a few hunts, elk, bear, turkey and soon pronghorn but I cannot imagine anything quite like calling in big bull elk. It was incredible to watch and hear my bull scream down my neck right before sending an arrow through the boiler room. The meat ate really great on the grill too.
