I have a 2000 s-dime, and she will scoot perty good for a V6, 2WD and cold air intake, she'll turn 10.20's in a 1/8. out run fords 4.0, I have outrun every dodge 3.9, 5....4?(318), and 5.9(360) on the road, i even outrun a ford F-350 V10!! To much weight to hang with my little 2000 pounder

RE: How Big Is Your Rig?
I drive too far to my hunting spots for a truck. I'd love to have one, but just can't justify it. It's 4 hours each way to my camp, and 2 hours each way to my closest spot. I have a facility to at least quarter deer at my camp and my best bud Dan's place as well, so all I need is space fora cooler in the car. Here she is packed full of a weeks worth of gear at Dan's camp.
30mpg, AWD, and a turbo.........it's prettyquick and fun to drive. I've got WinterSport M3's on some black steelies right now and this thing goes in the snow like nothing I've ever seen before.
I doubt I'll do anything to this car, I've already done that whole thing. I had an 01' WE Jetta 1.8T with a 57 trim t3/t04e that put down almost 380hp at the front wheels and trapped 118mph in the 1/4 mile. It was just getting to be an endless money pit though and to take the next step meant a built motor and I just wasn't interested in pushing it to that point. I sold it and vowed that I wouldn't mod the Suby.........I had enough $$$ into the VW to put a nice down payment on a house and realized it just didn't make sense. Someday I'll have another project though........I'd love to build a 16v turbo Corrado from scratch someday.

This thing showed many LS1's tail lights.........it would break loose from a roll in 4th gear once the wastegate opened up.
These pics were before I hacked up the front bumper to fit a giant intercooler in there.
