Thanks guys, I think last night after hanging him I probably spent 90% of the evening with no idea what was on TV........because I was staring at the mount. [8D] Lisa has given me one wall in the livingroom for mounts and I think he looks perfectthere.
And Jeff, yes......he's a 2.5 y/o buck. Both Dan and I weren'tcompletely sure when I shot him, but Dan is trained on aging teeth (Did for NYS DEC for several years) and despite his above average body and antlers (for his age) he's a 2.5. I'd say probably 50% of the 3.5's end up about his sizearound my property....on averagethey seem to end up 90" to 120" from what I've seen. When I green scored him (gross) he was 98" and change with no brow tines.

Very nice mount! That is exactly how my Iowa buck came into my decoy this past year, so I'm haveing him mounted on the same form.
Only bad thing is that I still haven't got my archery and muzzleloader bucks from 06 back yet!
I saved your photos to show my taxidermist just hoe I want him!
