Breeding Ratios?

RE: Breeding Ratios?
LT, to answer your first qestion, yes all of the does will more than likely be bred. A few may get missed but more than likely all will be bred. All may not concieve but be bred none the less. The 10 bucks will not breed all the does though(in my opinion). There will be many non-resident bucks if you will that will come in and breed some of the does, because a bucks home range and a does' for that matteris much larger than 80 acres. Thus exposing the does to many more bucks. If you are talking about a closed in pen yes all the does would be bred by the ten bucks. As far as the BB's being capable of breeding, thats disputable. But i would say that if the malepopulation densityis on the young side of the bell curve they could be stressed into breeking.

RE: Breeding Ratios?
O forgot your ? of how many times will a doe cycle. to my knowlege the most is three times in a climate that is relatively warm all year round examples: Texas, Florida, LOUISIANNA. But for most northern states if not bred during her first estrous cycle a doe will come back in to estrous roughly and i do mean roughly 28 days later. This is just an average it could be much earlier or later just a good starting point.
