if could only take 1 call

RE: if could only take 1 call
to be fair, i will pick a factory run of the mill call...not a custom that noone else can really get...just to keep the thread helpful to others.
if i could only take one call, it would be my original Ole yeller Slatek call from knight and hale. the original one in the green plastic pot....havent tried the new ones yet, but i need too...the ole yeller is about sanded down to nothing and i know that! im being realllly sparring and gentle with it to make her last...its by far IMO the best factory run of the mill call that i have ever ran. i even own a mid priced Cody glass call so that says a little bit IMO..cody is known to make good calls...i wont lie, i do use custom strikers i carve and make by hand with an axe and pocket knife on the ole yeller..i never did like factor strikers.
