Default Those with Vaportrail limb drivers

I have the rest but I was shooting it today, and looking at it because I kept shooting to the left just a bit, and I noticed the vaportrail is centered on the bow rest, but the not with the string, the arrow when its set, almost is turned to the left a bit, just trying to if thats the norm or if I should adjust it. If you have pictures that would be awesome, I post one of what I mean here shortly.

Odd looks like your rest is angled to the right of your riser!!! Could be just me though, I have had a few!!!

sounds like you need to set your center shot. to get you in the ball park, look down your string, line it up with the center of your limbs or riser and look down the arrow, it should be in a straight line and not veering to the side. if it is you will need to adjust the rest.

Im going to give it a try and see if it fixes the shot, and I think you were right there popeandyoungchaser, the picture shows the rest cocked to the right.

What you need to do is loosen the allen screw for the string that holds the rest down and give a look see with the rest in the up position.

Finally got my 101 the other day. Well it is at the shop ready to set up. I was considering a limbdriver for it but it looks to me like all the pics I've seen of them on 101s and 82nds that the cord to the top limb drag acrossed the cable guard. Am I seeing this right?

I have a Whammy and a Schaffer I could use, but heard the Schaffer isn't tuning well on the 101. Anyone have any info?

The cord just touches the cable guard but IMO it's not a big deal. The reststill works great on my 101.

yeah the cord barely touches mine on my general, still shoots good as long as I can straighten it out.

Right, the cord doesn't drag. All it does is sit there. It is either slack or taut. It does not mar the finish at all. If you get real worried about it, you can improve the angle (and almost completely clear the cable guard) if you tie it to the outside of the limb using a D-loop knot and let it hang down.

Hope this helps!
