Hi everyone, I've been doing alot of research and found some bows I've narrowed down to for buying.

I would rather get a package deal on huntersfriend so my bow is tuned etc, ready to use on the field.

Heres a list of them, they look basically the same but I know you guys have alot more experiance than me []

I've heard alot of folk say that reflex bows like the growler would be too heavy for me at 4Ibs but it doesn't seem much but it is expensive at $645 complete. I dunno whether to push the boat out and just get it or go for something slightly cheaper at $590 range. I just want a good investment, something that will last a long time and is not massive like some bows that will look too big for me or something that is too noisy.

The Parker wildfire and Fred bear lights out are the same price so that is confusing me im in so much limbo

I am really looking forward to seeing some replies, even if you have shot the following bows and have some pros and cons then i'd be glad to hear your opinions and advice. Every little help counts as i dont have a bow shop to actually try out these babies so i need to rely on you fine people

Have you held any of the bows or shot them yet?....please please please dont buy based on price. Like for me I cant shoot the Martins becasue the grip near the restdigs into my hand and its literally painful (THATS ME THOUGH). Reflex/Hoyts will tend to be a little heavier then most also. If your going to do some 3D shoots then I would look twards lighter bows but if your all buff and what not, dont take that into consideration. So yeah...personaly I would not get a package deal depending on how serious you are. The more you buy individually to fit you the better you will be off metaly also. But that is just my OPINION

I haven't shot any of these bows because there are no bow shops in Scotland that im aware of.

Most of the guys at my archery club use only recurves which makes it difficult.

Im in real limbo. I am hoping to go bowhunting for 2 weeks in Nov in MS.

I have small hands, so not sure what i'd use. [&:]

Do you think it I would be better just buying from huntersfriend considering i dont have anywhere that could tune my bow for hunting or fit pin sights, etc as they come when you buy from huntersfriend?

I don't know what to do, though i've heard that hoyt bows are the best.

I'd like to get the whole thing ready to go so its field ready.

Dave, I really like the Hoyt trykon, theres alot of places here that sell them but their bare with no accessories.

Im a real novice and not sure if i could finish the bow, tune and make it field ready. I have no clue []

I hear that hoyt bows are small and great for people like me though do you reckon i should just stick to what huntersfriend is offering?

Its really between, Reflex, PSE, Martin, Parker or PSE.

I'll be hunting from a treestand and on the ground, most of these bows are small anyway?

Im also a 25" draw length. Lefty.

Totally, i'll definately buy from huntersfriend but its trying to choose the bow thats the problem with so many manufacturers out there.

Is 4Ibs heavy for a bow? im 5'3. Quite small.

I've got 4 bows on my mind but cant decide. Very frustrating lol.
