Default ever not shoot your bow for a while?

about 3 weeks ago i got a new 101st, and i hadnt shot my old bow for quite awhile. its been like the first few weeks after you start working out. you use muscles that you normally dont use and i have been sore. anyways its been kind of funny. i wondered if any one else has ever felt this way?

I don't shoot leagues or tourneys so my bow usually rests after season until later in the summer. I am going to start shooting as soon as the snow is gone this year because I'm going to turkey hunt with it. I really don't get sore whenI start back in. Maybe because I don't shoot a lot of arrows per practice.

in the last 10 months the longest time I've went without shooting is 3 days, and that's because I was out of town.

Yep... its called duck season... and nothing other than duck hunting, precious little sleep and precious little eating gets done that time of the year.

I am on the biggest brake from shooting a bow I've had in 37 years. Maybe it's all the snow and no shop or place to shoot. I could shoot in my basement but haven't. I haven't shot an arrow since December. We've had a big melt and lots of bare ground around. I'll start next week. This weekend I'm heading out for a couple days of 4 wheeling with some friends.

I make it a daily routine, unless its pouring down rain, to shoot my bow. I have my freakin grass spray painted with yardage markers!

I make it a point to shoot at least 12 arrows in the morning.

I have not shot in almost 3 weeks. I needed to step away from it for a bit and clear my head of the things I could be messin with. I will shoot again soon though.

I put it to bed for the winter and spring.
Dust it off come July/August and get ready for Sept 15th.
I'll usually practice 2-4 times a week and shoot 4 - 3 arrow rounds, I never seem to get better than 2" groups @ 20 yds. or 2-4" @ 30 yds.
That's the boiler room statistics and it's good-e-nuf for me

I've been shooting my new bow a lot since I've gotten it about a month ago. I probably should put it up for now so that I don't wear it out. At 20 yards and hearing the sliding sound at the end of the shot I would probably say that it's safe to put it up for a while. My main concern was getting my shoulder back and it feels great now I just have to keep at it with the weights because I should be capable of pulling 72 and that's where I want to be at.
