Yep...and wanted to try something differant....I haul alot of boats and pontoons in the summer + my trailer with the atv's and Trailer a couple of myHarley's north once in a while,the fuel mileage wasnt very good with the smaller pickup and the dodge wasnt any better......
I hauled a Stratos(fish/ski boat)with the Toyota and got 12mpg and with the ford I towed a Viking deck boat(big and heavy inboard)and got 15.2mpg.....The Tacoma was a great p/u but turned out to be to small for my lifestyle.....

It's over $4 here....but increased MPG's don't forget, and it should be cheaper!

I got ya the V6 really isn't made to tow the bigger loads. Wonder how the Tundra would do? sorry just thinkin out loud.

they are about the same as ford,dodge,gm depending on how you drive.....I average about 16 with the ford and have gotten 18.2 on the hwy at 65 with cruse on...
