RE: Try not to assume people are arrogant and cocky on the forum
I thinkthere are thosewho discredit/distort/make incorrect assumptionon others observations/findings/experiences in orderto make things fit their personal needs/thoughts/agendas.
People then try to defend themselves or save face not necessarily to the accuser, butto the masses reading the posts.

What I've always thought that was funny is the willingness of some people to argue with other people that are 1000's of miles away over the internet. As I've told members here over PM's I refuse to let somebody get my goat that I've never met and only know from this forum. I have better ways to expend my energy.

Brian, you are soooooo right. There's a couple guys who I've thought that way about, then either met them or talked on the phone and they're the nicest guys you could meet.
But then again......some of them are just downright cocky and arrogant....

It is depressing to me that I have wasted so much of my time on here trying to help people who don't want to hear anything that goes against what they have already decided prior to asking the question

Additionally, most people don't want advice. They really only want affirmation.
