Do you or don't you agree that taking game of any kind the way we do it today is "cheating" as compared to how the Native Americans did it? They had hand made spears, we have tight tolerance compounds. They had hand/eye for sights, we have high tech devices. They had buffalo capes, we have scent lok.
Do you or don't you agree that if the Native Americans had the technology to produce gun powder, metallic cartridges, center fire rifles, etc... etc... that they would have chosen to fight the "white man" with their bows and arrows?

I'm not knockin' on anybody besides the people with skyward noses. I believe there is only one true measure of how much an accomplishment means and that is by the way that accomplishment made the person feel upon achieving it. Nobody knows but him.
To answer your questions, yes they would've, then they'd've chosen the gun. But with regard to hunting for us, when will it stop? Heat seeking arrows?

Just posting points about the topic.
Sure it will stop eventually. It will be up to the states to regulate what is legal and isn't legal and every state will be different.
For instance.......
Alabama made crossbows legal during archery seasonbut you can not use a magnified sight.
Florida, Colorado and many otehr statesmade the CVA ARC muzzle loader illegal.
Colorado does not allow pelletized powder, sabots and other advancements in their ML season.
Many states make the use of mechanical broadheads illegal.
Just posting points about the topic.

Seriously Preach, I try my hardest to make sure I come off crystal clear. Not to "dilute" BB's or anybody in specific'sability to read between the lines but sometimes some people can't. Just coverin' my posterior while maintaining mutual respect that's all.

How dare you get me started....I have 4 kills under my wing with this stick...and a handful of others with recurve and laminated long bows...
A few years back I blew the heart out of a doe with this bow at 18 yards with sinew wrapped osage and flint heads....
The following weekend I shot 6 feet over the back of a 130 class 8 pt (at 12 yards)with the same set-up...I won't get into a long detailed discussion....but....I still love my sticks.....And have more repect for those indians that survived by them...
But I also polish my Hoyt and she is ready for Oct. 1st. My wife took this pic 5 minutes ago....by the way she thinks we're all nuts on this forum....I love her for that...see you tomorrow same time same place.
I could get you one of these 60-70 pounds sticks...my fam makes them...they look sweet with snake skins...You'll pay extra for snake...I got bit once...

The indians traded hides and other items of value to get their hands on muzzleloaders...instead of using sticks......
