What an awesome story. It just goes to show that the outdoors is full of memories and dreams, some of which have nothing to do with hunting or fishing.

That is a great story. It's things like that that come back to you many times over. Not asking for "reward" is often time reward enough, but it's nice to hear when some take the time to tell you. congrats!!
