Irent or borrow an airplane and go fly by myself. Fly over the woods or mountains somewhat low and slow and just take in the beauty. Usually fixes it. If I don't do that, I usually go for a long walk in the woods.

I'll usually go off on some idiotic rant about how f'ed up the world is and how badly I'm getting screwed by the man, which usually includes the line, and I quote, "I'd save a lot of time and money if I just hired someone to kick me in the balls every morning right after I got outta bed, that way I wouldn't have to leave the effing house at all!!!!!!!!!!!!" I go down to the farm an get away from the house. The farm is about 83 miles from home, no phone, no mail, an far enough away that Ican feel the disconnect from ordinary everday life.
