Bowhunting worries....

RE: Bowhunting worries....
Not seeing deer ~ NH hunting!
I am so darn busy through the year that I frustrate myself to death when I'm not seeing deer for weeks on end.
I consider it a successful day of hunting if I see at least 1 deer.
I went on a 4 year stretch that I didn't see any fur at all, just a few infamous blows, but no fur.
I considered giving up deer hunting completely and selling everything.
The tables finally turned and the last 10 years or so I've been lucky enough to see anywheres from 5-29 deer per year,
that's counting some of the same ones, but on different days of course.

I take precautions with my scent so I don't worry about that too muchthe main thing I worry about is wind direction staying consistent. I hate it when it starts to shift and swirl a lot. Early season near the wetlands or wet areas i worry about mosquitos.

Wind direction without a doubt. I hate when I check a weather report and choose a stand location based on the predicted wind direction and the weather report was not correct.
