Default Arrow damage

This morning while out practicing i shot my arrow into my target , but the arrow point had come out the back and hit a stone wall behindthe target .when i retrieved it , the bullet point was blunted and the insert has moved out through shock i think and so has the nock . although there looks to be no damage , should i use this arrow again ? . I'm worried about a possible airline fracture , that may show itself when i shoot it . Your thoughts please .

The Arrow is a Gold Tip Hunter XT

Unfortunately i did not move the target further away far enough from the wall and my X-Force is a lot more powerful than my Merlin .

Its hard to say without seeing it but sounds like it would be one I'd trash. I've never thought the cost of any arrow was worth someone, especially me, getting hurt.

Shoot away, you're not that pretty, your face won't mind

I would scrap it, whats a new arrow cost? 10 bucks here, I would pitch it

I'm cheap, flex it and back into the quiver. It's not like it was a direct hit.

I expected that from you [X(], ,

Looks like it goes to the bin bag , not worth the risk of carbon splinters [:@]

I can't see any fractures but from my expierience when the knock pops out the arrow typically has a crack some where even if it doesn't show.

Hard to say. I've seen worse damaged tips. Doesn't look like it hit that hard. I'm sure the target slowed it down to where the tip didn't hit that hard. Can't really tell any damage to the insert or arrow. That all said, if I was to see something that didn't look right or thought it was damaged I'd chunk it. As Germ said, arrows don't cost that much.

Grab it head and tail and give it a good twist. If it has a fracture the shaft will either collapse or you'll hear a cracking sound. If it's solid, shoot it.
