Tim - if I know you the way I think I do - you're already dialed in. Hopefully his feed patterns won't change all that much over the off-season, and you'll be able to keep track of him for you or Tyler. That's a beast of a buck, buddy. You know I'm pullin' for ya - even if youend up runninghim down with the pickup truck. Hell, if that buck gets any bigger, you might need to upgrade to a larger brushguard! J/K buddy.

He's gonna be a pig next year.

I can't believe you had the restraint to take a picture of that shed before you grabbed it... I guess a big part of chasing big deer is...restraint.

Restraint?? If you only knew !! You wouldn't believe how happy we were. A couple guys havecontrol toaSection ( 640 acres )of that area. They bait big timefor hunting and sheds, plus planta20 acre food plot of corn. **** you not... they pulled in 400 - 500 deermost winters ontheirland when they bait for sheds. They have some very good ground to start with. It ruins it for usfor area around them that we have permission for. When they don't bait for sheds ( which isn't often ), we usually pick up 40 sheds a year and they pick up at least that many if not more.

We thought we were hosed thisyear for finding sheds in that area since they baitedbut we had permission for 30 acres that border their property on the South. We pulled 6 sheds off that 30 acre strip with the 4pt shed being one of them. Got to loveit when theodds are stacked against youand you get lucky!!!!!! Doubt like heck the other 5 pt side is in that 30 acres but we will find out when the snows melts.

I am not fond of baiting but don't mean for this post to come off as complaining which I am not doing. Just stating the facts. Trust me that one shedmade our year. We are used to it with these guys and life goes on. The one owner is 74 and still loves shed hunting. If I am still tromping around for sheds at 74... baiting might be anoption too. LOL
