Doing everything you think it right and amassing ridiculous hours in the stand, doesn't always payoff like you'd hope.

i learned not to go out in the woods everyday to get my trail cam. I dont care how tempting it is im not going to check my camera until 4 days later after i put it out.

Leave the binoculars in the truck during gun season, so you can bring your gun and scope up to shoot the 200 plus class deer, instead of lookin' at in awe through your binoculars ...

The most important thing I learned this season, is that an aggresiveMamma ground hog can run as fast as I can while carrying a bag of corn on my shoulder : )
