Don't worry about what you bought. It seems like a method of passage for all wanting to see better. You'll probably go through several more pairs of less expensive binos over the next few decades and finally if you're financially able... will buy your last pair that's going to cost you a a lot of money. As far as the ones you bought. Don't take them out in the rain, don't drop in water, don't try to use them in crappy weather. Other than that, they're fine in a car. LOL

You don't buy good optics for clear days. You buy them for the Cold pre-dawn rainy mornings when that buck is cruisin the fence row in the fog. The breath that is coming up through your facemask keeps foggin the lens. You try and wipe them on your wet sleeve to no avail, and now your not even sure where the buck went.

Boy how true that is.. I finally got my good pair! Yes Buckmaster..They all look good in the store and on clear days. (I'm not lecturing, I sang the same song when 8 years ago my cousin showed up at camp with a $500 dollar pair of binoculars. I said , "look they are no clearer than my $50 dollar ones")

I sold the farm and bought the Swarovskis. Just love 'em. I won't even loan them out except to Len and maybe Rickmur if he wanted them for the NASCAR race at Dover.
