I must be cheap...I bought a used bow about 10-12 years ago to replace my 1975 Bear Whitetail....I paid $150 for it...I buy a dozen arrows every year or so (still shoot aluminum), still shoot Thunderhead 125s and resharpen them when needed...Still shoot fingers, a tab lasts me 5-6 years....
I bought my deer rifle in 1980 with vacation time I sold back to the Company, I built my muzzleloader in the 80s and melt my own round balls...I do buy a couple of pounds of powder a year...My Lifetime License was $300 that I bought in 1983...I hunt my own property...
I have 3 daughters...25...22 and 16 so I have had to put two through college, one is in grad school, bought 3 cars for them and paid for a wedding on the Outer Banks last year...
I can't afford a new bow every few years....
