Hey Soap all in good fun, hows that new bow treating you. It was real windy here yesterday and past 20 yards was an adventure.

Its awsome, ive only shot less than 100 arrows out of it and am grouping within 3 inches of each other at 20 yards, right in the bulls eye.
Hows yours doing?

"Its better than nothing, i cant even scout the area i want to hunt because its the first person to get to the spot, gets to keep it that day,( and some people get there at 3am) So when i get to a spot i have to just find a spot with some deer sign, get in my climber and pray a deer walks by(its bow only). So it cant hurt ;/ "

Get some topo maps of the area and aerial photos....get a GPS unit...plot out where you think the deer will be in relation to the other hunters/areas so that you can at least narrow things down....look for the thicker nasty stuff if the area is heavily hunted....those things will at least help you narrow your search down for the deer and will allow you to adjust on the run rather quickly in a pinch.

Mine is doing great especally after I put that new stabilizer on it, I havent got to really shoot past 20 yards because of the wind here in oklahoma. Even in the wind though it was hitting around the spot I was shooting so at least I can say it is forgiving. I still need to sight my 40 and 30 yard pin in but I guess I have some time before deer season.

This is from a DEC officer, it's not legal in NYS.

C'Mere Deer, while advertised as an attractant, leads deer to consume the
material on which it is placed. In this manner it would be considered an edible
attractant and therefore prohibited by regulation for use in New York. Also,
because it contains salt, use of C'Mere Deer is prohibited by the Environmental
Conservation Law which specifically states that it is unlawful to place salt
licks on lands inhabited by deer.

Di not work for me either. I placed it in two different locations miles apart and as the directions stated. I still havea block of it so I may try to dig a hole and cover it up and see what happens. Also, I was told that it works best if it rains on it. It was severe drought here.
