That is just sick...I would go in with a scuba tank to find that!
When I was 15 or so, I was walking deep in the woods to find places to smallmouth fish off the Rapahannock River.....I found probably 15-20 dead deer carcasses and a small poachers camp. I ran like hell.

The strangest thing that happened to me was when I was bowhunting way back in a dnr 40. It was landlocked but I access to it because it butted up to my parents 40.
I had a 200 or 250 pound black bear come about 3/4 way up my tree. I was pretty scared...I had my bow pulled back just in case he was going to come all the way up to me. He looked up at me and left!!

Not really a hunting find but...One of my buddies had a rod pulled in the water by what he thought was a cat fish....about a week later a few of us were out fishing and my other buddie caught a carp...he got it to shore and noticed a line coming out of its mouth, he pulled the line in and sure enough there was my buddies fishing rod at the other end....
