I use all the same color feathers. I prefer flo pink, but I have some flo green and flo orange on flo yellow. I try to stay away from red and blue because I hunt turkey and don't want a gun hunter shooting at my red or blue feathers. I'll use a grey reflective wrap that looks a little white though.

I use all white...I dont think it makes a difference to the deer

And white makes it very easy to identify blood on your fletchings

Red would be one of my last choices just for that reason. Also it is not very visible in low light.

I like a White wrap and white vanes. Because it's the easiest color to see blood. I could give a rats behind about being pretty.

You can tell the difference between lung blood, muscle blood, and liver blood with a white wrap and white vanes. That could be the difference between pushing an animal and making a recovery. To me that is by far the most important factor in considering wrap / vane color. How well does it show blood? Black, red, blue, are terrible. White is the best for determining bloodcolor IMO.

Even though I now use FOBs, I still use a solid white wrap just to help identify what kind of blood I've got.

personally, i just use something i can find in low light. as far as telling blood...it would be nice to know if i hit muscle/liver/lung but you can usually tell lung&heart anyhow.
