Germ, I honestly think my binos are "good enough". Its not that I can't afford better binos, I just don't think I need them. I don't carry bino's to the stand (never have) and the truck ones take a beating. I clean them when they need it and have never regretted spending $35 for them in 1987.I didn't intend to start a "who's the cheapest on HNI" thread.My point was.....where do you draw the line on certain items? I hit my threshold on BH's last year. $30 for 3 is the most I'm paying from now on, and I still think I need my head checked for paying that much.
I draw the line on other things Like cars, I have yet to pay over 10,000 for one for me. I never buy new.
BTW I paid a great price for mine(350.00 bucks), but I would shell out 1000.00 for them now. One time thing, if I do not loose them.
I agree with you 100%, i am just a tight wad in other areas.

For me 30.00 for three heads is just about it. I see rage now wants 39.99. Montecs are looking good again.
