Large dead buck found
I was hunting with one of my good buddies in Coshocton County, Ohio. Its was towards the end of the 2nd day and we were heading back in after not seeing a single deer throughout the day. About 100 yards from the cabin i could see the tips of an antler sticking out from a little outcropping of rocks. When i walked up on it i found the remains of a big 10 point that had ben dead for some time. All that was left were scattered bones and the skull. The antlers were a little moss covered and had been chewed on but they were still in pretty good shape. I havnt been able to score it yet, but i plan on it next time i have some free time.

RE: Large dead buck found
I don't mean to hijack this thread but I gotta ask.
I have asked this before but why is it such a shame when a buck with large antlers dies but when a doe or small basket rack buck dies it doesn't get the same "what a shame", "I hate to see one like that die", we see the [:@][:'(][>:]faces,etc... etc...
Are we that greedy about bone? Why isn't it a "shame" when someone finds a doe skull covered in moss?
