The onlysearch that even attempts to work is in the lower right corner of this page..anything else is a waste.

I've never had luck searching for anything on this sight.

That's the ONE thing bad about HNI.

Search function has been worthless ever since I've been a member of the site, and that's been quite a few years now. Us old timers know to ignore it.

The only time I have ever gotten the "search" feature to work is if I limit it to search only the last month. Any longer and it doesnt work, but there are so many posts here everyday that a month doesnt cover a whole lot. It COULD be a very good tool.

Perhaps the new compnay taking over the site will get it working?

Yup at the bottom right of the page you can search and it is the only one that brings up what you are looking for. The other search at the top of the page is worthless.

They search function will work if you limit your time frame in the search. Too many returns to the search is the number one reason it doesn't find anything.

It does leave a lot to be desired tho'.

I think it might have something to do with the amount of traffic present on the site at the time you search. I've tried off peak hours and had more success. This has come up in discussion before andnobody really knowswhy the search function is the way it is. *shrugs*

be nice if we could make the best better huh?
