Actually, if that deer went an even 200 the price is $11750.00. $3500+2250+6000=11,750. What it goes to over 200 is unknown, but still. Almost $12k and the guy is driving a jeep?? Doesn't add up.

if that is a 200" deer he paid over $30,000 for it! Just look at the prices and do the math! Thats sad! And then to show it off![:'(]

Drop, don't sweat the original post. How were you supposed to know? It's still an impressive buck regardless of the "hunter."

Drop,
I totally bought the story too and didn't mean to post this to make it look like you posted false stuff. Actually, seconds after reading your post I emailed it to my dad to check out who still lives and hunts in NJ. There are 200" deer in NJ, I used to hunt in Howell and that 200" monster was shot 5 minutes away in Wall TWP a few years ago. I also have family in Hunterdon County and have seen the monsters roaming those crop fields. The picture of the guy on the preserve website kinda says it all though, big let down for me being a Jersey hunter at heart...

I totally bought the story. I know there's some good bucks in the northern part of the state and there have even been bucks in the 180s taken in Salem County. This could have been a nice trophy for Jersey's record book.
What a beauty, I had a feeling it wastoo good to be true.[>:]
