Let me know how the bloodtrail is. Bear sometimes don't leave good blood trails because they plug up the hole with fat so bad so don't be too upset if you don't get much of a blood trail.

My striker (non-magnum?? standard maybe?? IDK, lol) left a helluva good one last year, 60 yard track or so.

I'm more concerned about shot placement than curring diameter. If you use a broadhead less prone to wind planing and hit them in the right spot with a 7/8 cut you are better off than a gut shot with an oversized poorly flying head.
Then again I never used a .458 winchester rifle hunting for whitetails either.
