I think Rob is trying to shoot a 28" draw on his new bows. He was shooting a 28.5" last year, and 29" before that. I think.

I switched to ACCs this past season with my new Ross, and loved them. Shooting 3-49s 27.5" arrow with 100 grain points and blazers as well. Not to hijack, but how do you calculate FOC?
How much did that arrow weigh? Also, what Ross?
Honestly, I've yet to figure out total weight, and don't know how to do it without a scale. I know the 3-49s work out to be ~8.81gpi, so with shaft and points I'm at ~342. How do you figure for inserts/vanes and nocks? Is there a chart somewhere? Or do you just need a scale? This is all on my CR334.

I have sevral ACC's that I have been shooting for about4 years now and a few months ago I checked them to see if they are still in factory specs and all were still perfect on spine.

Most all of them didn't even move the indicator when I checked for straightness.A couple did but I think those were the nes that stuck in a log or 2.[8D]

ACC 3-49's for over 8 years, and off and on prior to that.

27" arrow with 100 grain points and Blazers weigh in 381ish grains depending, mine do.

FOC is well above 10% but I'd have to do the math, I have excellent flight, have for years and group mulitiple fixed blade heads. You get away with heavier as Jeff did.

Yes, they bend but not very easily. I've shattered more than I've ever seen bent.
I use this exact same set up except a 26 1/2 inch arrow. Acc's are worth the extra money if you are competing. I have broke a few over the years but thats just part of the game.
