What gets me is every one thinks you have to look like a tree.

Those of us that have tried ASAT know this stuff works like no other.
Do your self a favour and try it and if ya dont like it send it back you really have nothing to loose.
Their 3d is the best I have ever used.

RE: Favorite camo pattern
I bought my ASAT 3D suit, just froma previous thread on this forum. I only got to use it two times before the season was over, but it looks very effective. Makes me wish next season was here even quicker!

RE: Favorite camo pattern
predator camo, like asat, it is an open pattern, that not "attractive"
to the human eye. but it works evolution is there busiest pattern.
the natural gear needs something yet, mossy oak is to dark against the saw grass, and corn stalks i hunt. and i am not always in a tree.
we took a the patterns we had laying around here and used up a roll b&w flim. its seems to me that when your in a tree it dont make a hill of beans. on the ground is where camo does its job. choosing is a matter of preffernce but look at the surroundings...
thanks

Mostly whatever is clean.
I like Filson's gray, and tie dye shirts in woods shades. I don't buy the commercial stuff any more. Most of it is so photographic I think it mostly sells on the rack, rather than breaking up the outline. I think the texture of the material is at least as important as the colouring.
Come to think of it, there was a show on the Army sniper course recently, where one of the guys during a stalking test was discovered because he hadn't broken up the pattern on his camo glove. Even though camo, it blobbed out pretty badly. That is a pretty extreme case though.
By the way, what is the current line of thought on fluorecense? There used to be a product that was supposed to cut the whitener glare that a lot of cloathing carries. Don't hear anything about that any more. Is that still an issue.
