I have two Viper Predator Pro MT sights, on one I have 4 .019 pins, when I ordered my second one I had them install 2 .019 pins for 20 and 30 and 2 .010 pins for 40 and 50 yards. The .010 are perfect for further distance and the .019's are perfect for closer distances.

For hunting or 3D? I just bought a set of .010 pins, and shot my first 3D w/ them yesterday. For 3D, .010's are DA BOMB! If we're talking about a hunting set up, I think I would go w/ the .019's......029's are just too big, IMO, and "halo" out too badly in bright light.....That's just me though.

It really depends a lot on your eyes and how they focus. I have guys that have me order them sights with .039 and they do great. I personally prefer .019. It's a size that works for me. I tried the .010 on my 50 and 60 yard pins a couple of years ago. They were just too little for my eyes to focus on properly. Try them all if you can and then use what works for you and your eyes not what works for your buddy

I've got a viper with 5 pins..

.019; .019; .019; .010 and .010

If I had it to do over again.....I'd go with all .019. Actually.....I'd probably go with a top .029.

I like a .019 or .029 for the top, which I have on an old Tru-Glo at home. My Cobra's both have .019, and are BRIGHT, but not over-bearing to the point of halo's. It think it's a matter of personal preference, but it seems like a LOT of guys are liking the .019 size from what I've heard.

the only thing I like about the .29 is that they are much brighter!
