RE: Selling my General in favor of Allegiance.
"They" say, you should draw, anchor, acquire the spot, take up the slack on the trigger, start tightening the back musclesand the shot should go off by itself in 8 seconds. All that in 8 seconds. If it doesn't happen, let down and start over. Of course hunting can be different, but it usually happens fast. If you're staring at a target for 30 or 40 seconds you're in trouble.

Bows are a very personal choice. I Love the Allegiance and ithas beenthe main Go to bow in my stable for a couple of years. Late last year I found myself packing the Guardian more and more, anddon't over look the Airbornes!!
That'll really make your decision easy. Airborne 101? Airborne 82? Guardian? Allegiance? General?[8D]I really couldn't blame you if you ended up with an Allegiance, like I said my Favorite for a few years.

Are you sure your just not trying to hold back too much weight, or have the letoff set too low? I dont really see how less than a 1 pound difference can cause all those problems with holding. Are you shooting with a quiver attached to the bow?

Well, you have to be comfortable with what you shoot. Personally I favor the feel and beauty of the Allegiance also. Based on looks alone I really can't stand the General and Guardian.
