It's no secret that my resort is in NW Ontario and is where I spend 85% of my time deer hunting. The only problem is there is a HUGE invasion of non-residents coming in from out East and Michigan. Unfortunately the MNR has their head up their arse and will do nothing about it. If nothing is done it is going to be just like hunting Michigan. [:@]
Over the last 2 years there has been some new areas opened up past my camp due to logging.....the number of hunters in my area has gone up at least 10-15x what it was 3 years ago. The problem is not that the hunters are there....well ok it is.....its what they're shooting. They expect to see a big buck behind every tree and when they don't, they shoot a 1.5 yr old just to fill their ego....errr tag.
Fortunately, I will always be able to get away from the crowds.

LOL...I'm just venting. This is a huge issue in our area and we have been trying to get some laws changed.....butMNR is always reactive and never proactive. "Hey, let's wait until its too late!" [:@]
