Default 3D shoot

I think I am going to shoot in the 3D tournament at the Dixie Deer Classic. I was just wondering if any one has shot there before, so I can get a felling of it. I will be shooting against some of the top youth in the state, and maybe the adult division as well. No rangefinders or Binos allowed, do yall have any tips for me.

No rangefinders or Binos allowed,
No rangefinders is a given but that's the first one I've heard of that you cannot use binos. That's stupid, how are you going to prove accuracy and score if you don't know where to shoot. You could make a perfect shot only to shoot in the wrong place. A guy who's lucky could win over a guy that's accurate. That's silly.

I'd like to shoot this tournament.....and I'll look into it some more.

Not allowing Binos is idiotic in my book. Familiarity with the targets shouldn't be an advantage IMO.

you need to go. i havent been to that one but all the ones that i have been to are a blast. the no binos thing is stupid but they used to make a clipboard for 3d shoots that had all the kill zones on it for "mckenzie and delta targets" i think.

I inquired, yesterday. There is no rule banning binos. When you get to the expo level (subsequent tournament)....binos aren't allowe din that shoot (much like the Buckmasters....wher eyou don't have TIME to use them).

I'll probably be shooting this one. I don't see why not. I was planning on going, anyway. Shouldn't take too long to shoot a 15 target course.
