Default sight issues

Last night I went back to the shop that set up my new bow. After the initial set-up it was shooting about 20 inches high at 20 yds. with the sight and pins up as far as I could go w/o blocking the pins. They checked everything over, adjusted d-loop a hair to get it perfectly level and still shot about 8 inches high. I ended up purchasing a new sight with a smaller housing that allowed it to be adjusted even higher. We did get it on target, but the first pin is now partially obstructed.

I usually sight in from tree stand height and it looks like this will be a problem since it is close to being obstructed when shooting at ground level. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? The rest is mounted about as low as it can go as well.
