A lot of this would take care of itself if we didn't worry about how the "other guy" is doing ANYTHING (as long as it's legal and ethical)

(my opinion)

Bawana....that is one fine post

Great post, Jim. Yes, it was much simpler in those days, BUT I am still having lots of fun today.

What?

Goretex
Cold weather gear
Carbon arrows
Broadheads
Better treestands
Climbers
Camo

20 years ago you shot GameGetter 2 21/17 or 22/16
Broadheads you had a choice Thunderhead, Muzzy, Razorbacks, Rocky or Chuckits
Camo patters Realtree, treebark or what ever the Army surplus had on the clearnce rack
How about footwear

The good old days of huntingwere:
simpler but harder

Todays hunting:
harder but simpler

I like way I hunt today more than what I did 20 years ago.

I like fact I know my equipment and effective range and I know my setups.

I like fact I have Joined QDMA and take a active role in Deer Managment for my state

I like fact ScentLok is a MI company, creating Jobs in the USA. I wish they made more
of their clothes here.

I like fact I now understand difference between mature buck and young buck

I like the fact Jim takes showers

Some people have fun in the details of hunting Jim[8D]

I like the fact I have 8 differnet camo pattern suits, I like camo

My arrow is 536 grains light

I like the fact rage made a great Mech head.

I like you Jim

Be careful Jim he like you!

I don't like the fact the Germ has his avatar space reserved for one of his bodybuilding buddies from the gym????????
