Dan, How does the slide work is it moved by turning a dial?
On the Ultra yes it is a dial which is geared and works Very Smooth

I have to agree, that the COBRA Sidewinder is VERY BRIGHT, but I didn't have the Halo issue mentioned by a couple others. I just put a sight-light on it, and if I could find the animal in the peep, it'd be toast even in pitch black.
