ATA Update?

RE: ATA Update?
Some of us were busy...others like Justin got to putz around all week.
Some things I really liked at the show:
Scentblocker's new stuff: The Dream Season Pro fleece outerwear is to drool over. and love the new selection of lace up boots and base layers. I have just about wore out their catalog already.
Of course our Octane line of accessories: The 1 and 2 piece quivers that are infinitely adjustable, fully machined, and will sport the new Invelvet finish in any camo we offer. They also come standard with a slotted foam insert impregnated with a rust inhibitor or the new magnetic hood insert that was one of the talks of the show. It's THE perfect quiver for any broadhead but especially for the rearward opening mechs were foam or bumping those blades isn't going to work....and both are in that perfect 5 arrow configuration.
The Hostage Pro restwill become THE #1 full containment rest on the market........mark my words on that one.
The stabilizers are available in 7", 11.5" (for the hunter class 3D crowd and even a 30" target model) also in all camo colors as well as black/red and silver on the 30".
The ground blind stool that Todd from WKP was helping to promote while sharing booth space was SAWEET. pricey but you'll never sit in another more functional or more comfortable seat.Wish I could remember the name?
Speaking of WKP, Todd showed me footage of what will be on "The Grind" 2008 DVD and it's going to be awesome.
And not to go unmentioned was Hunsucker and the Heartland crew. While Hunsucker is about as chatty as a dead person (short too), the footage looks great! Wish I could have won that hunt!!
There were some traditional type stuff I loved. The new single bevel 3:1 broadheads from Steelforce, and the DAS "Dalla" while not new was new to me and what a shooter!
The new Carbon Express kevlar "Aramid" shafts should prove to be the most durable hunting shaft on the market (and they better be for the price! LOL)
I wish I Could have taken a day and messed with everything but in limited time those are the things that caught my eye.

RE: ATA Update?
I don'thave time to write a review but i know that Justin took a bunch of pictures and will probably write one.
I saw you picture on the booth across from us. It was some pill for internally controling body odor or something....Justin took a picture of it

RE: ATA Update?
It had to be Nullo. Heck I did not know they were doing anything with my pic. Time to make a phone call. I ran out this past season at the beginning and totally forgot about it. I do like the stuff as some reason
it kept my sweating down big time.
Thanks for sharing Gents.

RE: ATA Update?
I can't sayI saw much that really impressed me at the ATA. A few things of note IMO are.........
The Octane quivers from Bowtechare awesome. Magnets in the hoods perfectly center your arrows tip in the hood. This quiver will be on my General.
The limb saver bow shot very well.
Slick Trick has two new broadheads this year. A 1.25" 4 blade and a new COC four blade. Of course they look to be of exceptional quality.
One of the neatest thingsI saw was a deer dragdevice that was like a reverse horse bridle that fits in the mouth and around the head to make dragging out deer much much easier, especially does. Very good invention.

Now, does anyone know who this ugly guy is?

RE: ATA Update?
You might not recognize this guy with his sleeves still attached to his shirt, but its none other than Mr. Hunsucker himself. A great guy I might add, and fun to drink a few beers with.

RE: ATA Update?
Jeff - not sure what info you're really looking for. It's made from real turkey feathers, and basically it's like a cover that slips over your decoy and kind of "buttons" together with a hook and loop system. Very lightweight and you could easily pack it into a fanny pack if you want.
