Flem played in the 60's for the packand I know you are not that old or are you?
Ding!....Ding!!

You are correct!

At the time he was representing me he was the only living man with 5 super bowl rings, three with the Packers (old days) and two with the Dolphins at the end of his career. He played tight end for both teams.

And no, I'm not that old sheesh....I'll turn 43 on Sunday[:@]
Did you do any hunting with Elway there John? Happy Birthday on Sunday too!
Nah, unfortunately none of us did too much hunting during that time, We got out when we could but the rigors of the NFL (especially during the season)demanded your time be spent thinking of football.

Broke up a lot of (and was involved in)bar fights back in those days. John's not what her appears on TV (clean cut California boy and son of a coach) he was as tough an SOB as there was. He could hold his own and then some. The kinda of QB any offensive linemen would love to block for.
I bet that was a blast! I miss the good old days (bar fights) myself! Take care John!
Yep Schultzy.....I hadsome fun that's for sure...Looking back on it now, it feels like another lifetime ago. Things were way different back then and my lifestyle was MUCH different....if you know what I mean.

It's a chapter of my life that's come and gone and I'm fine with that. It was (and still is) just a game. I worked hard, tried my best and accomplished muchwhen I did it and I walked (well hobbled) away with much pride in what I'd accomplished, but that's not what defines me as a person.

What I'm most proud ofand whatI've put just as much effort and commitment into is being a goodhusband to my lovely wife, dad to my wonderfulkidsand friend to the people I love..........That's what defines me.

There's also a lot of great people right here on HuntingNet.com like yourself who are what is good about the world we live in today, that's why I hang out here.

Damn....did I just get all mushy??? Where's that Germ boy at? I'm laying the smack down!!

I'm glad things worked out for you the way you wanted them too! I wish you and your family all the best, take care!!

Don't speak for all hunters there Grasshopper. I'm not going through a difficult time at all. Spend a month in a hospital or load some friends in body bags, that's a rough time. The season has ended.... that's all. Soon we'll be doing turkeys and walleyes and golf. I'm not having a difficult time at all. I have a life and it's not all about hunting. It's about family, friends, hobbies, work(if you're still working), and many other things. I choose not to have a hard time. I choose to live life everyday for the whole year. If you're going into a slump or think we all should simply because we can't go hunting.... well Grasshopper, you need to evalute your priorities.
Nobody should go in a slump cuz the season is over. Im not going through a difficult time either, im just sayin hey things were gettin a little heated up around here, not a lot, just a little... Everything is looking pretty good all "except" the season is over,Soon ill be on the creek banks, waiting for my citation trout to bite with my girlfriend of 4 yearsand yeh im working 2 jobs.

PS look at how good spirited this thread is going, and Big J ready to lay the SMACKDOWN on anybody that wants to try... what more could we ask for?

John ..... how tall are you
Tony,

I'm 6'4" and 325lbs.....BUT ole BigJ is on a diet and would like to see the bottom side of 300lbs for the first time in oh about 25years

When I left the NFL I was 315lbs, I'd like to get down to my highschool weight of 295lbs. Sucks because I do love to eat.

Bring it on Germ Boy! LOL
Big deal...I'm 6'4" 325# too!
