All this location talk got me thinking
Let's say my neighbor has improved his land and lowered his Buck-doe ratio. While I have killed what I want and have alot of does on my property. Let's also say I have a good enough food source to keep the deer I have on my property.
Do you think my location will improve, pre-rut,Peak Rut, and post rut?

I think much more needs to be known. How big is each property? Which has the preferred bedding areas? Which gets more hunting pressure? Not necessarily more deer killed, but more intrusion by hunters. And what’s the surrounding herd and areas like?

No high fence.
Ry why is that so important? Bucks expand their range during these peroids and I've got the bootie on mine and they have to fight to get a chance at the ones on their property.

If there is a deer management program in an area, say 1/2 to 2/3 of a square (640 acres) and all the land is pretty much the same, the people not actively participating in the the deer management program will reap the benefits provided by the neighbors that are....
Deer are not yours, they are free to roam where they may, and a mature buck will range a loooong ways.
We have neighbors that refuse to believe that QDM works even though every year they shoot at least a couple 2 1/2 year olds, 10-15 years ago when there was not a deer management program in place, if you didn't have your buck down by noon (gun hunting) odds are you would have to wait till the next season to get another shot (this did not apply to bow season, then you got to see bucks 'natural')
meh, you pay your property taxes, or lease the land, hunt as you wish......

If you have highly pressured the deer and he has not, he's gonna have more deer visit him, at least in shooting light.......its pretty simple, food source or not.

If your land holds does then the bucks will show up sooner or later..........why guys want to eliminate so many does is questionable logic to me at best.
