This year about 20 mintues before any light I had a deer walk about 2 feet from my tree, stop and look straight up. I was almost asleep and never bothered to move because I could not see anyway. I just peered from the corner of my eye at the outline and that deer turned and went the opposite way. Wind in my favor, deer suppose to come from that direction, and even later killed a doe on the same trail. Now it would not have mattered what camo I had that deer looked up and knew something was up.
