Hockey year-round (except during deer season), mountain biking over the spring/summer, a few camping trips every yearwith at least one solid whitewater rafting run, picking/growing a little ginseng, skiing over the winter, restaurants/bars/clubs every weekendwith our friends, sporting/cultural eventshere and there, work out when I can, pick up sheds, hunt/scout turkeys, even do a little varmint hunting. I love to surf, but never can seem to get to the damn shore anymore. That upsets me.

I generally try to stay as well-rounded as possible, but I've been slipping in the cultural areas lately. I'm turning into a little bit of a caveman, I think. Matter of fact, I pulled the ripcord and porked up a little bit over the holidays. I think I may be in "the comfort zone."

There's just never enoughtime.

A peek into my life: This week, I worked M-F 9-5. Every weeknight, I study for the PA bar exam for 2 hrs. Friday night, I have tix to see The Lion King (the musical) downtown w/dinner reservations at some Irish place. Recurve hunting Saturday morning. Meeting all our friends to watch the Penguins game at a sports bar on Saturday evening - houseparty with beer drinking and beerpongto follow (Wife's turn to drive). Sunday, I study from 9-noon, watch football 'til 4 and play hockey from 6-8. Back to work Monday a.m.

Anything outdoors for me. Other then that I shoot in allot of dart leagues, Fishing summer and winter, play allot of hockey (Minnesota is the state of hockey)! I'm a sports fanatic! I do some motor building, I do allot of Demolition derbying! Also a new dad!
Sounds like you did allot of smashing in your time! Its allot of fun isn't it? I've ran mostly in Litchfield. I've also ran in Benton County, Redwood Falls, Sauk Center, Wright County. I'm not into it like I use to, my job kind of took over my time. I've got more involved into the sponsoring part of it, I own my own business and a friend of mine who does 10 times the demoing I do gets my name out there pretty good! My buddy has ran down in Indianapolis, Nebraska, Iowa and the Dakota's! All of these shows were on the speed channel besides the ones in the Dakota's! It was pretty neat seeing your business name on the cars on national TV. I think in a couple of years I'll get back into it big again, the money there paying out now is real good if you can find the right places to go to. Over New Years my buddy's were down in Lincoln Nebraska at a team derby. They won it, they took home 8,000 dollars!
Thats them! They kicked some butt New Years Eve! I know Andy the best of the 4, I don't really know Shay and Dukey all that well. Jim Riebe is the guy I sponsor for.

Yea I ran into Andy down there at the Golden Spike for their fall derby a couple years in a row. A class act! I couldnt make it down there for New Years (ma said not due to the 3 month old baby).Where do you live down that way. I do alot of pheasent hunting down towards RWF. I know a couple of guys out of that area that derby also. Fun guys, but not real bright when it comes to building and driving.

During the off-season I shoot a little bit of 3D......try to keep in shape....and travel with my wife every chance we get. Two Mexico trips planned for the year.

Lisa and I keep a pretty hectic social calendar. We're doing things with friends most every weekend (whether it's at the lake or somewhere else). We're both trying to get back into Summer shape right now....and being 43 it gets tougher and tougher to shed the Winter 10-15 (well....it is for me....she's unbelievable). So we'll gym-it for 6 days a week until turkey season....and then get back on it. I'm shooting for 190#'s by the end of April (starting at 208).

The indoor HNI league is proving to be fun, too. I'm learning a lot (thanks, Matts). I also want to do some more flyfishing in the Spring. I've neglected this passion for a few years, now. I forgot how much I used to love this.
