1980: born
1991: killed first deer with my bow
1994: killed first buck with bow
1997: killed first elk with bow
1998: dad and I both killed bucks on same morning (awesome day Nov 15)
2000: killed first BIG buck
2003: got out of Marine Corps and could actually hunt with some regularity
2005: killed first caribou
2005: killed first OLD buck (8-point P&Y)
2006: killed first 10-point that would make P&Y, son born (biggest accomplishment to date)
2007: killed first targeted buck (12-point, scores as 10, P&Y)

Future:
- take an elk, mule deer, antelope, and caribou that would qualify for P&Y
- take an African Kudu, gemsbuck, impala, and wildebeest
- complete the North American Grand Slam (or super slam... whatever)

If I don't complete them all, oh well. But I will have fun trying

Milestones for me have been:
1. First Bowkilled Deer
2. First Deer killed with Traditional gear
3. First P&Y Buck
4. Passed 100 Deer killed with a Bow

To Go:
1. I always enjoy the challenge of hunting something I've never taken before, on thist list would be Caribou, Moose, ??
2. I'd like to add a few more species to my Trophy room that make P&Y, currently have killed 4 different species that have made minimum.
3. Stay healthy and enjoy sharing Bowhunting with my Grandson's

Dan

No mile stones. I do it for the shear enjoyment. No goals, other than to put meat in the freezer and to enjoy nature. Ive shot deer with everything from rifles, pistols, compound bows and trad bows. So I guess my past goal was to take a deer with each kind of legal weapon. The past 10 years ive stuck with just compounds and trad bows.

I just enjoy huntingand don't really set any concrete milestones. If I did I'd say I have met some, and I have some yet to meet. One major one that comes to mind in the "yet to meet" catagory is to see my children grow to love this sport as much as I do.
