My GF shooting her Christmas present from me.

RE: My GF and her Christmas present from me.
I got my girl friend started this year shooting and she quickly became a good shot. She can hold good groups out to 30 yards now, she started at 28 lbs pull this past summer and now she is up to 40 lbs with her Parker CHALLENGER. She hunts with me now and has learned a lot, the experience has been very rewarding. Her goal is to be able to comfortably draw 50 lbs by the fall.

50lbs will be crankin out there, my girl friend can pull that, but not over and over again comfortably, i think she'll be fine at 45lbs. by the end of the summer... Weve got a lot too work on, and she is SO self-concience(SP) that i cant hardly even watch her while she shoots, she cant stand it.
Her biggest problem is she is scared to death she is going to hit her arm with the string, she dnt even think about the shot, and i really dont know how to help her, ive showed her how but it dont take the fear away, im thinking about picking her up a arm gaurd....

My wife quit shooting 9 years ago. She shot the bow I got for her twice. Once , right before she got pregnant w/ my daughter, and once right before she got pregnant w/ my son. Scary , isn't it? It really happened.
Seriously, that's so cool. You're a lucky guy.
I don't think you'll have any problems loosing those pinkarrows...mobow doesn't..!!!

It is really neat that You got your girlfriend to learn about shooting a bow Buckmaster 101.....I would get her an arm guard so she's not worried about hitting her arm or evena good thick long-sleeved sweater or shirt is better than nothing. If she's pulling 45 lb pull already that pretty darn good and it is enough to kill a deer with!Tell her we're all thrilled to death she's learning to shoot and keep us up-dated on how well she's coming along!
