OK, this is only my opinion but for 96" of regular sticks equals $109. For me the regular sticks are well worth the money. For the minis which are 48" of sticks equals $99........I just don't see it. Price and dimensions taken from Lone Wolf's website.
Maybe the minis are a better application for where and how you want to use them, but I can use the regular sticks for just about any application I can think of, at least in my case.

I imagine the minis' could be intertwined with the 48" where you climb a limbed tree with a crooked trunk. It seems like you could put the smaller one where a larger one won't go. As far as using the minis' exclusively, I would not see going that routeand to carry some of each might be a little bittrying unless you know the tree you are going to be hunting and carry each of what you will need. I plan to add some minis to my collection sometime.
