It has always amazed me how once cornered you can grab them by the tail and carry/fling them. You do have to be careful though and hold them away from you, they will bite if given the chance!

Lets see Sautee,Fry,Bake,Broil,BBQ,Jerky,Roast,kabbobs,stew ,Jeeze I just cant make up my mind.

I have live trapped and relocated 4 opossum since fall. They seem to think the area under the deck behind the house is a nice place to live. That one in the picture is about the size of the average one I get.
I recall people saying they are good table fare and just wondering if anyone has tried them for lunch? If so how do you prepare them and are the good?
I've eaten my share of racoon, one porcupine, a gopher and not to offend the village alders in Nam I eat dog and Rock Ape. If I had a good recipe and shot a opossum in the wild ( seen the city ones come out the sewer grates) I'd give it a try.

You shur you aint related to the clampets, Ellay mae, Granny would know how to fix it up, Then again a few people around here would also know how.
