RE: Huntingnet Mythbusters: Your predictions
I'll say "Good Luck Fran!"
I'ld also guess that if you are not comfortable with the shot it will not be taken right? THings change so much when you are in the woods with a deer aproaching. Everything has to go perfect otherwise the shot does not happen, seconds one way or the other and the chance is blown anyway. I hope to see a confimed kill picture and I really want to see a certain hat on your head.

PS, mail headed your way, hope your feet don't get cold.

Everyone who chose "less than zero percent chance of success" wins an all-expense-paid membership to Huntingnet for the next 30 days!
I saw 3 deer, and they were all the way over on the next ridge - maybe 300 yards - just outside my effective recurve range. I was taunted by a black cat (that I refrained from shooting). Lots of rain though. Rain, Rain, Rain. No sheds either. I did manage to shoot a tin can and an old, dryrotten Charlotte Hornets basketball that I found laying down off the roadway, so the day wasn't a complete waste.
I stillhunted an entire cornfield (still standing) and didn't bump out a single deer. [>:]
Back at it tomorrow.

I practice with my recurve for 2 years before I hunted with it this year for the first time. Still looking for my first with Trad gear. I had one chance this year and shot low. There is no-way I could have went hunting with it the next day after I bought it. Whatever rocks you boat I gess. Goodluck on you hunt but I voted #5!!! Be Safe!!!!

All I can say is pick a spot. Only look at that spot. Its just like throwing a baseball. I think. Good luck. My prediction is if you shoot you will either stick one good or miss wildly.
